Twitter has finally made it possible to create huge lists for the convenience of it’s users. This major update enable the twitter users to create massive lists with up to 5000 accounts in it! This effectively helps the to track a particular stream of users.
Twitter announced the update via Twitter, of course, in a tweet from its @TwitterForNews account.
Update to Twitter lists: You can now make up to 1,000 lists (up from 20), and each list can include up to 5,000 accounts (up from 500).

Users can now create as many as 1000 lists (up from 20). And each list can now include up to 5000 Twitter accounts (up from 500).This should boost the usage of Twitter Lists amongst their heavy users who prefer to categorize streams based on topics and interests.
