OS X Mavericks was announced all the way back at Worldwide Developers Conference 2013. Mavericks was announced to be available free download to those starting from OS X Snow Leopard and all the way to Mountain Lion. This update brings a few changes from the last year’s release of Mountain Lion.Mavericks 10.9 update include introduction of iBooks and Maps for Mac , updated notification system, improved performance and battery life,iCould Keychain, Finder Tabs and Finder Tags.
