After a lot of teasing and fan meets around India, LeTV finally made it’s entry into the Indian market official with a grand Event in Delhi launching Le Max and Le 1s.
Le Max, it’s high end phone has a 6.33 inches WQHD 2560×1440 display with a pixel density of 464 PPI. It comes with 21MP primary camera and 4MP secondary camera. The phone is powered by an Octa Core 2GHz 64 Bit processor, 3GB RAM and 3400mAh battery with fast charging. The charging is done using USB Type-C and also has a fingerprint sensor on it’s back. Le Max comes in two different variants: 128GB Gold version which costs Rs. 37,000 and 64GB Silver version which costs Rs. 33,000. There is also a special limited edition Sapphire Le Max. It is limited to 1000 units and comes in pink. Here, the Gorilla Glass is replaced with a scratch proof Sapphire Screen. The price of this Sapphire edition is Rs. 70,000.
The second phone announced by LeTV is the most impressive one, which is Le 1s. Le 1s comes with a 5.5 inch 1080P screen with display density of 403 PPI. The primary camera is 13MP and secondary camera is 5MP. It is powered by an Octa Core 2.2Ghz processor, 3GB Ram and 3000mAh battery which supports fast charging. Like Le Max, this also uses USB Type-C for charging and has a fingerprint sensor. Le 1s comes in only one version: 32GB which costs Rs. 11,000.
LeTV claims they are selling these devices at a price which is below the production cost. This is possible because they’ve partnered with various companies for their ecosystem. For now, they have partnered with Eros Entertainment and YuppTV. Also, every phone comes with 1 year worth YuppTV Premium for free.
Both Le Max and Le 1s will be sold exclusively on Flipkart. Le Max will be available from Feb 16. Le 1s will be available from Feb 2 via flash sales for which the registrations are already open.
