The Le 1s is from a company called LeEco, known as LeTV in China. They’ve recently entered the Indian market, but has been making huge waves. Here are the 4 reasons why you should not get the 1S:
1. Non Expandable Storage
The Le 1s comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage and it is limited to that. The toggle cannot be expanded via Micro SD card which is common on most of the devices these days. 32GB is plenty enough and should not be a problem for most. But it can easily become a problem if you store a lot of media or record 4K videos.
2. Camera Quality
The camera quality on the 1s is not that great and has it’s own issues. It takes great videos and fantastic shots while outdoors under natural light. But when you are indoors under artificial light, the quality of photos are bad and grainy.
3. Battery
One of the most common complain about the Le 1s is it’s battery which is at 3000mAh. It can just last one full day with light or moderate usage. With heavy usage, it would be hard to get past half a day. Although the phone has this problem of a moderate battery, it comes with fast charging. Also to make up to it, LeEco has included the fast charger in the box which is amazing. Even most of the premium phone manufacturers don’t do that. So if you have constant access to ports, it should not be a problem. The fast charger can charge the phone 0 to 80 under 50 minutes.
4. Type C
Le 1s comes with USB Type-C for charging and syncing data. We would not really call it a disadvantage, but merely an inconvenience for now. Type C is the future and it is really good that LeEco has it’s vision straight. It’s just that there is no abundance of Type C cables and if you forget yours behind, chances are your friend won’t be having one.
Every phone has it’s advantages and disadvantages. LeEco Le 1s has gotten too many things right that we can let the disadvantages slide. Also at this price point, it is hard to ask for more! Click here to buy the LeEco Le 1s which is exclusively sold on Flipkart.
