Apple just sent out invites to the October 22nd event and it reads: We’ve got a lot to cover and the color pallet is similar to the iOS 7 colors. Going by “We’ve got a lot to cover”, Apple might have a lot of announcements to do.
Apple is expected to release the next generation iPad and iPad mini. Also, Apple might talk about the cylindrical Mac Pro showcased at WWDC this year.
