Apple has confirmed that some Apple Intelligence features have daily usage limits. It has not published a fixed number of requests, a reset time or a price for expanded access. The limits can vary by feature, request complexity and system demand.

This is not a cap on every Apple Intelligence feature. Apple says limits apply to certain tools that rely on server-side models, including Siri AI, intelligent photo-editing tools, Image Playground and AFM 3 Cloud models in Shortcuts.

Which Apple Intelligence features have daily limits?

Apple names those four as examples, but says the list is not exhaustive. These features can send requests to Apple’s servers rather than doing all their work on your device. Apple has not said that every request counts equally or that the features share one common allowance.

The limit may depend on the feature, the complexity of a request, system demand and other factors. Apple has not explained the calculation, so a specific number of daily prompts circulating online should be treated as unconfirmed unless Apple publishes it.

Has Apple said how many requests you get?

No. Apple has not published a daily quota, such as a set number of Siri questions or generated images. It has also not specified when a limit resets or exactly what users will see when they reach one.

Does this mean Apple Intelligence is becoming paid?

Not necessarily. Apple says expanded access to some server-based features will be available for a fee in the future. It has not announced a price, launch date, subscription name or which features will be part of that expanded tier.

Apple has announced paid expanded access, not that all Apple Intelligence features are about to require payment. Until the company shares more detail, it is too early to say whether typical use will stay within the standard allowance or who would benefit from paying.

What does this mean for iPhone users in India?

Apple has not announced an India-specific quota or price. The usage-limit note applies to server-powered features, not a separate India plan.

Availability still depends on the device, software, language and region. Siri AI is in beta and initially available in English. Apple also notes that some features may not be available in every region or language, so a compatible iPhone does not guarantee that every feature is available in your preferred language or location.

Should you change how you use Apple Intelligence?

There is no reason to avoid these features based only on this announcement. Apple has not provided a quota that lets users estimate how often they might hit a limit, and it has not announced the terms of paid expanded access.
