Samsung will be launching its latest high-end smart phone “Samsung Galaxy S5” at the MWC in Barcelona on February 24th. This year Samsung has cut down on the promotion for the launch of the event “Unpacked 5” unlike last year, Samsung spent a lot of money for the launch event which was an hour long musical unveiling the Samsung Galaxy S4.
A few days ago a leak showed us few of the hardware specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S5. The specifications of the device was leaked on the popular benchmarking platform called AnTuTu.
According to the leaked specs, the phone doesn’t seem to have any major overhaul. Except for the fact Samsung had mentioned radical changes in UI with the newer version of TouchWiz. @evleaks showed off an image that was taken on the Samsung Galaxy S5., the EXIF details confirm the S5’s camera specification.
The latest reports from SamMobile suggest that Samsung S5 will sport a Finger print sensor of the past where you have to slide the finger on top of the sensor. It’s highly unlikely it’s anything like a TouchID. There were some rumors which said Samsung was going to have an iris scanner, but we all knew it was a joke. Samsung couldn’t even figure out the smart stay feature on its Galaxy Series smart phone and the iris scanner was too far-fetched or at least for now.
