One of the biggest features when Apple released OS X Mavericks last year was the ability for websites to send push notifications without having to make a Mac App. Our very own member, Abhishek Kannan has been working on it for the past few days and we are pleased to announce that it is now live.
To start receiving push notifications from us, open Techzei on Safari a pop-up will be displayed as shown below. Click on Allow.
Once that is done, you’ll receive a Thank You notification indicating it works. After that, you will receive a notification every time we publish a new post. You can also access it from the Notification Centre.
Everytime there is a new post on Techzei, You automatically get push notified like this!
Opening up the Notification Center will show all the missed updates from Techzei.
