In a bid to keep up with the market in the 3G wars, Aircel has slashed the 3G prices down to almost half the rate of it’s competition.

Aircel has not only reduced the price, they’ve also made it unified for both 2G and 3G. You can now use the same plan on both 2G and 3G networks.
This is definitely a delightful announcement because till now, 3G has costed extremely high that most people don’t use it even though their phone supports 3G. Hope the other carriers follow the same soon.
Recently, Aircel partnered with Wikimedia to give free access to Wikipedia to all it’s customers with a view of free knowledge to everyone. Also, they entered into a strategic partnership with Micromax to drive the data growth in India.
