For all the Nokia lovers out there. Buzz around Nokia is that they’ll be soon launching Nokia X aka Nokia Normandy , which is actually a blend of Android OS with Nokia. This is the first time Nokia is getting into a trial along Android OS with Asha & Lumia products.
According to the retailer website, Nokia X’s features and specifications are turned out to be mash of Windows. Nokia X smartphone reported features and specs include
Display : 4-inch WVGA screen display with 800x480p resolution
Processor : Dual-core 1.2 GHz chipset,
Camera : 5MP rear-facing camera,
Ram : 512 MB RAM
Storage : 4GB internal storage capacity that can be expanded via the microSD card slot.
Additional features and specs include the dual-SIM capability and a 1500mAh battery to keep the device going.
Pricing scheme for the upcoming device is estimated to be not more than $100 to $120 which is around 6000-7500 INR .
The Nokia Normandy allegedly runs heavily modified Android version – much like in the case of the Amazon Kindle Fire range. The OS will allow the handset to run popular Android apps, thus addressing a major shortcoming of the current Nokia Asha lineup.
