Flash ClockWorkMod Recovery For Micromax A110 Canvas 2

Here is a quick tutorial to flash a custom recovery (ClockworkMod recovery) on your Micormax A110 Canvas 2.

1.Download the flashtool here & CWM recovery from here (extract the zip file to get the recovery which is a .img file)
2.Make sure you have micromax drivers / Cynus T2 drivers, depending on the ROM your on.
3. Open the flashtool & Load the scatter file and uncheck all options except recovery.img as shown in the video.
4. Click on recovery and choose the newly downloaded recovery.img file -hit “download” , turn off your phone & connect immediately as shown in the video.

i am not able to open cwm file it says the archive is ether unkown format or damaged I downloaded many recovery file it says same help me

Hi,ive been tryin to root my canvas to running on jb for past month …ive tried all the methods using different drivers and vcom drivers but im unable to root.sp flash shows that soc verification fail.please help

  Try it on a windows 7 PC, and make sure you have the proper SP flashtool version. Try downloading flashtool again.

hello jay this is pratap reddy i brought micromax a111 doodle last month, 1 week back i rooted it , after that i uninstall some system apps, after root i got superuser Chinese version, i can understand that i want to go back to my stock ROM , i downloaded stock rom of my mobile from internet …but how to restore stock ROM in my android please help me give step by step details..

Hi….. i had rooted my fone previously and tried various customs ROMs but finally settled on the default ROM. But when i flashed back the default ROM somehow CWM Recovery got replaced with the default recovery. Now i was trying to flash CWM Recovery back with sp tools i got a msg “PMT file has been changed. Please Download.” I tried the same with Mobile Uncle Tools but of no use. So can you help me out in this matter?
