Apple TV and Apple Arcade included with iCloud+ in India

Apple has changed how its subscriptions work in India. The iCloud+ India plans now include Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no extra cost, starting at ₹75 per month for 50GB of storage. Apple says the expanded plan will roll out through the end of September, so the new benefits may appear gradually on some accounts.

What changed with iCloud+?

Apple says iCloud+ subscribers in India now get full access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade as part of the same subscription. Apple TV includes Apple Originals, while Apple Arcade provides access to Apple games without ads or in-app purchases.

This is not a cheaper storage tier. The listed iCloud+ prices remain the starting point, but two entertainment services are now included.

iCloud+ India plans and prices

Plan Monthly price Best for
50GB ₹75 One person who needs extra storage
200GB ₹219 Families and larger photo libraries
2TB ₹749 Several devices and large libraries
6TB ₹2,999 Creators and large households
12TB ₹5,900 Large media archives

Apple’s free 5GB iCloud plan remains available, but Apple TV and Apple Arcade are included with the paid iCloud+ plans. Apple says every paid iCloud+ plan can be shared with up to five other family members through Family Sharing.

What happens to existing Apple TV and Apple Arcade subscribers?

Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be available as individual subscriptions directly through Apple in India. Existing subscribers will continue to get access through iCloud+, and Apple says their individual subscriptions will be cancelled as part of the change. Apple Arcade game progress and saved games will be preserved.

What about Apple Music?

iCloud+ subscribers in India get Apple Music Select, which provides ad-free stations and curated listening. It is not the same as a full Apple Music subscription. Apple says the full service can be added for ₹115 per month on the Individual plan or ₹145 per month on the Family plan.

Apple One is no longer available to new subscribers

Apple says Apple One is no longer available to new subscribers in India. Existing Apple One subscribers can continue using their current plan. Apple’s Apple One webpage may still show older pricing, but the newsroom announcement is the clearest source for current signup availability.

Is iCloud+ better value now?

For many users, yes. The 50GB plan is interesting if you already need more iCloud storage and would use Apple TV or Apple Arcade. The 200GB plan makes more sense for a family. If you only want entertainment and do not need storage, the value is less obvious because Apple now ties those services to iCloud+.

My take

Apple’s change is simple for existing iCloud+ users. You get two useful services without paying more for the storage plan. If you are comparing plans for the first time, choose the storage tier you actually need and treat Apple TV and Apple Arcade as added value.
