I’ve drawn comparison from the press release of both the manufacturers. Sony’s SmartWatch 2 doesn’t come cheap when compared to the Galaxy Gear , although the battery life on the SmartWatch 2 makes it a killer device .Galaxy gear has a gyroscope and accelerometer for tracking workouts, it could double as the fitness tracker.
There isn’t really much competition between these devices in terms of features , SmartWatch’s compatibility with most of the android phones sort off makes it easier choice for the ones who don’t own a galaxy device. Samsung’s galaxy gear itself only works with the latest Galaxy phones and couple of the last generation galaxy devices.
