Note-taking should never be complicated. Note-taking apps should be light, with an easily navigable, simple, yet intuitive user interface. Big names such as Evernote sacrifice this simplicity for a plethora of features, which for many are unnecessary. It is with this, that Note l!st steps up to take note-taking back to simply note-taking.

Developed by XDA Forum Member Cubeactive, Note l!st’s   core function is to jot down notes with simplicity and elegance. The user interface includes a main screen of folders, which can be traversed to create and access notes. Within a folder, notes are listed along with the date and day of creation. Long-pressing notes display various options such as view, edit, and share. The actual notepad is what you would expect: clean and clutter-less. There are also options to rate notes out of four stars, as well as a ‘completed’ check-box. Shortcuts can also be placed on home screens to create new notes quickly.
