Moto Hint, Motorola’s latest invention is set to hit shelves later this fall. Moto Hint is the latest addition to the Smart Wear series. Only time will tell the success of this product, but Motorola are on the right track of reviving their glorious past in the telecommunications industry.
So let’s get down to the most crucial question. What is Moto Hint?
It’s a small device(the size of a ear plug) that gives you the functionality of the Moto 360 Smartwatch but it’s in your ear. It uses voice input to communicate with your smartphone apps and services and relays the output to your ear. So, let’s say you’re trying to navigate to a place. You don’t have to keep looking at your phone nervously every few seconds to make sure you’re on the right track. Moto Hint does that for you.
Getting down to the design, it’s light and comfortable and you probably won’t even know it’s there after using it a couple of times. It does try to be shallow but it isn’t invisible. Since it works on bluetooth, It can be connected with almost any device. However good the device is, it all comes down to how effectively Hint can register your voice commands. Moto Hint has a impressive 10 hour battery life along with a really nice charging case which can be used to protect the device. The device does not need be charged directly, only the case needs to be charged.
Motorola has set a price of USD 150 for the Moto Hint. How actually people respond to it is another dimension but Motorola seems to have impressed us yet again.
