Motorola which has made its way into the Indian market with its mid priced devices, the Moto G and the even more budget friendly Moto E. Motorola has announced the successor to its most successful device in India,  Moto G (2nd Generation).

Motorola made the announcements at IFA 2014 in Berlin, alongside a separate launch event that took place in Delhi,India. The all new Moto G features a 5-inch 720p HD display, improved camera and much more. For the people who waited for an upgrade in the hardware, It’s a disappointment because the 2nd generation has the same basic hardware which is 1.2 Ghz Quad-core processor and with 8GB or 16GB internal memory.

Motorola has had a bad time with the camera quality in all their smartphones, The Moto G second generation has a few improvements, the camera has been upgraded from 5MP to 8MP and the front facing camera is now a 2MP shooter.

Just like a Moto E, The Moto G now has front-facing speakers and also it supports upto 32GB of external storage with the added microSD card support which lacked in the previous generation Moto G.

Moto G (2nd Generation) runs on the latest stock version of Android KitKat 4.4.4 just like all the other Motorola smartphones. With guaranteed future updates of Android, Motorola blows away every other OEM in this case.

Motorola Moto G (2nd Generation) is available on Flipkart for ₹12999. The Moto 360 smartwatch and new Moto X will be available in India in the coming weeks.

      As per the spec sheet, Yes. We are yet to try out the devices.
      Also, Redmi lacks AOSP. It is still on 4.3 although an update is on the cards.
