Moto G will be officially arrive in India in January 2014.
Moto G comes with a 1.2Ghz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB RAM. It’s not a very powerful processor considering phones in this price range come with MediaTek processors. The device will be available in 8GB and 16GB variants along with 50GB Google Drive space for storing all the great pictures taken on the 5 megapixel camera sensor and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera.
Moto G sports a 4.5 inch display with 720p resolution and with a 2070 mAh battery, the company claims the device will run all day on a normal use.Out of the box the device runs Android Jellybean 4.3 and a guaranteed 4.4 kitkat update which will roll out by January 2014. India and Brazil will get the phones with dual-sim option.
Motorola has been listening to Moto X users and have worked on a smarter camera app. Features like Tap anywhere on the screen to click a picture and swiping left to access different modes like Panorama and Auto HDR are some great new additions. Moto G does not have Active notifications or touchless controls like the Moto X.

Will it really be worth the cost? Or will it be another high-featured failure model?
It’ll definitely be worth the price if it’s between 12-15k and will be a serious competition for smartphone manufactures like Micromax and Karbonn.
We don’t have external memory? we have to manage with given internal memory, it’s may be drawback for this mobile
Nope, there is no option for external memory. But they do give you 50GB google Drive space that you can use.
Yes, for a country like India it is a dis advantage. Yet, Google believes the future to be cloud storage. They are giving free Google drive space with the it.
For a beastly smartphone like this 2070 mAh just doesn’t make the cut. I think they should have included a better battery!
