Few days ago , The developer behind the Focal App quit CyanogenMod Team and now has released the App in beta on the Google Play Store. When Focal was released in the latest nightly builds of CyanogenMod , We had done a complete review of the App.

Focal App is jam packed with tons of features and a good replacement for the stock camera app on any Android device. Some of the features are

– A photo and video mode, supporting many features (burst mode, timer mode, scene mode, shutter speed on Sony devices)
– A panorama mode (currently semi-broken)
– A PicSphere mode, open-source replacement of Google’s PhotoSphere, to do 360° sphere shots
– A review drawer

The app is currently available for free.

I hope that this app stays free and good as long as I am using it! 😀
BTW nice article. I am using this app since quite a few days after having first read of this article, and I don’t want to use the default camera now.
