The key features of the new android update includes several patches and fixes and improved features for web browsing. The Motorola officials have claimed that the main patch is about OpenSSL vulnerability. The new update must be in view of the recent bugs exposed in OpenSSL security like Heart Bleed virus.

Motorola is known for providing its customers with good quality services and has once again kept its promise by bringing the update much before Samsung and HTC phones. The update is of just roughly 58 MB and its more like a security update. However inspite of it there has been new graphical layout for contacts and diallers. Also the baseband version is different from previous android KitKat version which may be helpful in calling and other related services.

Moto X and Moto G users have been receiving the Android Kitkat 4.4.4 update in the last few days. Now Moto E users have started receiving 4.4.4 KitKat update. The company has released a 57.9MB OTA file.

Motorola had recently launched its range of phones having its OS as KitKat 4.4.3 around a month ago. Inspite of it they managed to bring a update within such a short span whereas other phones are languishing and are still running on KitKat 4.4.2. This has clearly tilted the popularity of  motorola devices with the folks towards motorola.
